In 1994, our family got our first computer (a 386 DX 40, with 130 MBs of hard drive space and 4 MBs of RAM). I was 14 years old, and in Grade 9. Within a year we had our first dial-up internet account that came with a whopping 4 MBs of web space.
Not long after getting on the internet, I realized how much I wanted my own space. I guess it was sort of like a pre-blog. So, I sat down, downloaded an editor and started reading a few pages about learning HTML. It wasn't long before I had figured out enough to post my own page with pictures and random bits of information.
Then when I moved away to college, I bought my own HP Pavillion computer and got an account at the University. I kept learning more code and one day read about the wonders of CSS.
After doing a few sites of my own, I realized how much I loved doing web design and wanted to do more of it.
And so, Web and Flow Design was born (Officially in Aug 2006). Hopefully there will be many more opportunities, many more pages to code.
Now WFD sites are created using Apple Computers and a host of free and (very much) not free software solutions. We create static and dynamic sites to meet all of your needs!
