Below is a listing of some of the sites that we have been working on lately. Click on the images below to see screen shots. For the full effect, please ensure that you have Javascript enabled in your modern browser.
Some of these sites were designed prior to the formation of Web&FlowDesign.com - so you won't see them identified as ours. But there were all projects that have helped us develop in some way.
Tracey has been making collage for over twenty years. Her cards are a reflection of the mysterious and distinct ways that all of life comes together. Tracey Cards were born out of her realization that living is multicolored, multitextured and dynamic, not linear or inert. Oddities abound and excite. They make us wonder.
That is from Tracey's site and captures her artistic spirit. This project was a remake of her old site. We wanted to keep the look and feel but completely rework the back end which was quite dated and didn't display properly in any browser. Now her site is standards compliant and looks great too.
For this project we used typical XHTML+CSS, PHP, and just a little ajax goodness.
Vance Chiropractic Center is located in Gastonia, NC. This is their first website, and so I wanted to make sure it was a good one. This one is built, like all of my sites, on a LAMP platfrom and is pretty easily extensible. There are some neat plans in place for some additional functionality in the coming months. But at launch, it's just a great looking site.
A great blog that I have been wanting to redo for some time now. The project is complete and the results speak for themselves. This blogger just wanted a great looking site that wasn't based on one of Google's templates.
Flock's Diner is a center for Christian though. It is the project of a pastor in Sanford, NC. This project involved the graphic design and layout as well as weekly podcasting, and some flash work.
This new public relations company contacted me just a few months ago in need of a great, attention-getting site. Here's what we came up with.
I've known Jesse for several years, having worked summer jobs together. Later, we ran professionally in some of the same circles. So, when he decided to leave his day job and begin providing music lessons to kids at this private studio, I was more than willing to help him out and to develop a site. Jesse is a great guy and I hope this site serves him well. He's also available for weddings and bar mitzvahs!
Those People began as a campaign, of sorts, at the Waynesville, NC Corps of the Salvation Army. Currently, this is a blog where they welcome discussion on a number of topics. There are plans to expand it to serve as the general purpose site for their church. More info coming soon.
Podcasting Tutorialwatch the video (requires Quicktime) >An online interactive presentation that I created following a tutorial that I conducted for some peers regarding podcasting. This is a 40 MB download and requires quicktime. |
Recent Shirts
Recently, my day job required me to design some T Shirts for some events that were coming up. Here are three in varying styles and for various purposes. More to come soon. |
