Equitas

Equitas, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Charlotte, North Carolina that provides resources for people groups in developing nations to assist them in becoming sustainable communities.

This is such a great organization that we're proud to be affiliated with.

Equitas is known primarily for it's projects in Malawi that involve bring clean water, either through wells, or irrigation projects.  Now, they're looking at other ways to promote community development via education - giving a better future to whole communities - not just individuals.

When Equitas approached us to help convert their design to XHTML and hook them up with a powerful, flexible Content Managment Solution, we jumped at the opportunity.  We customized an install of MODx revolution just for them, building in some blog functionality and some custom navigation snippets.

Now, Equitas has a nimble, expandable website that doesn't require much attention.  They can focus their efforts on making real change!
